What does your name means?

The meaning of our name is a confession and direction which have a great control of our life.

Did you notice that every time God encountered a man and wanted to do something spectacular or specific in and good in a man's life, he changed his name first. Look at Jacob, just because he tried to come out before his brother, they were twins, he got a hold of his brother’s heel when they were born, his father says wow, his name will be called Jacob which means a swindler, cheater and deceiver. What happened when Jacob grew up, he deceived his father. He got his brother’s birth right. Until the day God met Jacob, the bible said Jacob wrestled with God. He thought that it was an ordinary angel, but it was God himself. He wrestled with God all night long, Jacob said I will not leave you, until you bless me but God said No I can't bless you. " Why Jacob said what your name is, he said my name is Jacob. God said I can't bless you, Jacob. "WHY" because Jacob means deceiver and a scammer. God said you will no longer be called Jacob but Israel.

Also, Jesus changed the name of Simon. What is the meaning of the name Simon? Simon means a reed shaken by the wind. Unstable Simon is the new testament’s version of Ruben. Jacob told his son Ruben that you are unstable as water. Therefore, you will not excel. Jesus said to Simon, "You will no longer be called Simon but Peter."
